Finally she is finished! She took so much time because I had to wait for two different shipments of hair But she is finally done ;D This is my second custom and I think she turned out nicely :> I just wish I knew what to do with her hair... lol

I apologize for the not-so-great pictures. I would take them outside but it's raining ;[

I plan to make a series with this gal with all of the seasons ;D I love owls so this gal was a must! I cannot even express how much pain her eyes caused me since it was my first time. lol  I don't know if it's visible in the pictures but the feathers on her forehead "fade" so to speak :>

She is adorable and it is a shame that the pictures came out so clearly. In the one clear one, it is easy to see that there is a of talent being hidden by the blur. Great work!

Love the owl- big owl fan here too!   The color scheme works really well together.   Really like the delicate marks near the eye too- lots of little details that are standouts actually!

looks like your camera has some difficulties with macro pictures- do you know if it has a specific macro setting?  (It did a lot better with natural light from the looks of it at any rate, so that might just be the best way for you to work with it )  Cameras are tricksy things some times!

DiamondDreams: Oh gosh I have no idea. My camera is a dinosaur. It's ollllld :[ It's a Canon PowerShot A610 I think? I've tried every one of it's settings inside and they all come out blurry no matter what D; It's so frustrating. But then again I am no camera expert by any means. lol A new camera is really high on my want list, believe me! I'll replace these icky blurry ones with some outside pictures when the weather clears up :]

ah- been there with ya in the camera on the wish list category before....  once I started school in graphic design I had a good reason for an upgrade so we took the plunge and good a decent digital SLR- now my husband uses it more than me, rofl.  With one of my old cameras I would take customs outside and balance them on patches of ice to get better photos, so yeah, sometimes the dinosaurs make you do crazy stuff for decent shots

Does it have a symbol that looks like a tulip? My really old digi that I think was bought in like 2003 had a macro setting, it wasn't fantastic but it worked.

Omg, she is darling! I'm a big owl fan too, and autumn is my favorite season, so owls + autumn = win! She's just so so pretty too - I looooove the ombré feathers on her forehead, and her eyes are so pretty :3 The symbol is so adorable, I love the scattered leaves. Seeing this girl representing all seasons....that would be so fun! I can't wait to see the whole set ^^ Excellent job, she's gorgeous!
