How do I get a tail for my Wigwam?

My Wigwam is missing his tail and I want to get a new one for him. I have posted in the wanted forum but hardly anyone has viewed the topic so I thought I would post here as well in the hopes that more people will see it.

Is it possible to acquire a donor tail somewhere or how do you go about getting a new tail for a tailless pony?
I seem to remember something about someone running a rehairing service or something? They had a website but I don't have the link to it. Is there anyone here who knows this website?

I wouldn't suggest looking for a wig. The hair quality is awful. If you want someone else to rehair him there are a ton of people who could give him a tail, it takes about 30 seconds to do. Or you can buy the hair from dollyhair.com  and do it yourself

I agree with NoD - giving a pony back his/her tail is easy enough and a hank of the right shade of white is reasonably priced from a site like dollyhair. Thats your best bet for rehairing.

Otherwise you could try a want "advert" in your signature and more people will probably see that than a wanted post.

Thanks so much for the replies!! I took a look at that Dollyhair.com website and wow they have the exact same hair Hasbro uses for My Little Ponies!! I'm gonna go for it and try to make him a new tail myself I just need to figure out the right color of white. I looked through all their colors and I think the one called Virgin Snow will match? Please, is there anyone who can confirm this?! This is completely new stuff for me and I don't want to order the wrong color.

Also, when I get the hair how do I make a clasp like the original tails have? He still has his washer, it's rattling around inside him

Yea I have not found the wanted section on this forum to work well.  May I suggest also that you look for one on ebay that is in bad condition body wise so it will sell lower and steal his tail.  I have done this with other things.  A pony that has marker stains or even cancer will sell lower and I can use the tail on that one to fix my nice pony.  I prefer all my ponies to have original vintage tails.  This is how I find them if I can't find anyone selling tails.  I think getting hair to make one is fine too. Its just for me that would never do unless I had no choice...say the mane was gone too..then I would rehair. If all I am missing is a tail...I try to find the real thing if at all possible.  It just depends on what type of collector you are.    Getting the hair is certainly cheaper sometimes.

A real tail is definately what I would prefer but I wasn't sure if it was possible to get. Getting another Wigwam with a bad condition body and take his tail is not a bad idea, I just don't think I could do it , I would feel bad for the other Wigwam .

That would be so awesome if you have a good condition spare Wigwam tail! Please let me know! I would feel better getting a donor tail from an unknown donor

Here is my Wigwam, He's not perfect but definately not bad either and I wouldn't even have a Wigwam if it wasn't for him
