Tealslippers: They were a Comic Con exclusive given away at the My Little Pony booth.

Seems odd, though, she said "ordered" which isn't "went to the booth" or "bought on ebay" - if there is a shop online selling, I'm hoping she'll tell us

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I have been super busy with work.
To answer question of where I got the Image. I have no idea. I just google searched it. I think there is a pirated copy of them somewhere for you to print off. That is why there are prints of them showing up on eBay.
Which brings me to the next question. Sorry I said order, I actually got them off eBay. And I paid  A LOT for each poster. I saw the Rarity one pop up on eBay (after days with no luck) for $100 buy it now. And I snagged it. I had to have it to complete my collection. And it is an official one from the con so I had to have it.
