@mlp4me I would honestly advise against remove-zit to be honest - just check out the cleaning sticky at the top of the forum for the damage it can cause. It seems to yellow white plastic and bleach out colour in coloured ponies - not fun at all. Also it has long lasting affects - you have to scrub to remove it as it can get into the pores of plastic and continue to work even after you think you have taken it all off.

@teresat I actually dont think regrind and age/cancer are too largely influenced by environment - if that were the case we would see more break down in collections or from collectors who lived or stored in the same location. Instead what we tend to see is break down in the same ponies - whether they have been treasured since being released from their box in America or literally have had a "hard life" 4000 miles away. Its the plastic which has the issue rather than the environment.

I hate to see what is happening to Chief, Gabumon.... I don't see a lot of stallion-crazy people in the arena (I'm stallion Crazy XD). Best wishes to you and Chief!

Yeah he's my favorite G1.  ... and that' saying something because I like a LOT of G1s XD.

Anyway....

Good News Tonight!

Ya know that weird texture on his bum??? It washed OFF!!! YAYAY!!!
 :frolic:

I washed him and used a magic-eraser and he's looking cleaner and brighter... but the brown dots are still there.  I guess it's just inevitable... that he's going deteriorate.. .I guess I should come to terms with that.

Anyway I gave his hair a wash and condition and he's drying now, in a safe warm place, with his tail in a curler.  I couldn't bring myself to curl his manly mane XD.
 :nerdy:

So he's cleaner and a bit whiter, and can strut his bum with pride now!  Tomorrow we'll see how his hair looks.
