Something's a Bit Odd Here...

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but yesterday I got a G4 Applejack and noticed something a bit odd:

For some reason she has eyebrows but none of my other G4s do. What gives?

Lol...yes I had seen that mentioned before - the only pony to have eyebrows...random.

I would bet its because they have standard line guides for production and in that she will have eyebrows and none of the others line guides will have eyebrows - therefore her toy gets eyebrows and none of the other do!

Someone in a past thread suggested that when they were designing the toy, they only had this image to work off of, and that's why she has eyebrows? No idea if it's true, but I like them!

Yeah that is funny she is the only one. I think her eyes are meant to be half closed like in the picture, and the eyebrows might be eyebrows or a crease at the top of her eyes or something.

Also, I bet they were only working off of one image at the time of her design, and wanted her to look a lot like it.

I noticed that too! It bugs me to no end, I would acetone them off but I have a forelocked AJ and I'm not sure about doing it! Do other ponies with her head mould have the eyebrows too?

Eeyup, all of the AJ's except BB size have the eyebrows, including the molded-hair one from the storybook set. I really wish they had done freckles instead!

It is Hasbro we're talking about here! If I get the time/resources to give my AJ freckles I'm sure I will!

No as mentioned above - she is the only one to get eyebrows probably as a result of her product character art
