Are you superstitious?

So,are you superstitious?I'm usually not,but when I read messages like ,,Somebody will come in your room at 00:00 tonight and kill you'' I get really superstitious.That night,I read such message at a spongebob pic in Facebook (Yup,I'm a Spongebob fan girl) how Bloody Mary will come in the room and blah-blah...and since I now in my country is 00:45 and I  read it at 23:30,I got frightened.And since my sisters (I got an younger and an older sister) weren't in the room,I got more frightened and just at midnight  I went to my parents' room and started talking with mom about something stupid  .

Anyway,I'm not superstitious about curses,destiny and etc.What about you?Can you guys share some stories or something (like when you were young)?

I'm superstitious only when it's reeaaly dark and im alone haha.

But please, don't worry about horrible threatening chain messages like that, I think it's digusting how people spread those around! Eg "if you don't pass message to 10 of your friends then such and so will happen blah blah" Why would someone pass on a threat to a FRIEND, UGH. Also when these messages are just left everywhere for any unsuspecting person to read. It's only some rubbish someone took two minutes to think up, they are not even creative.

Not even a little. I'm all realism, I never give any thought to any Old Wive's Tales about how if I do or do not do something specific, "bad luck" will befall me. I make my own luck.

I am a complete realist. Although my head can venture into the clouds, I can see the world as it truly is.. something I don't always like. :')

I wouldn't say I'm superstitious. I believe all those superstitions are made up and I can't say I really care about them.

I find them interesting though and don't mind reading up on them Everything non-realistic does interest me. While I don't believe a black cat crossing my path or going underneath a ladder will bring me bad luck I do believe there's more to life than what we can see. And it's facinating to read about at least

Not really. I enjoy researching and finding out where they originated from since I draw/write a lot if fantasy based stuff I'm always looking for interesting concepts. I do think there's probably more to things than we think but I'm not sure how much of it I actually believe.
Chain letters though are just bogus and rather mean in my opinion

I believe in ghosts and I believe in karma, but I do not believe in childish things like bloody mary and the like.

I practice a severe avoidance of the number 7.  Other than that, I have compulsions but they're not really done out of superstition.

nope, not at all :S and I get pretty upset if someone is being superstitious around me, but that probably dates back to my childhood when I had a black cat that was the kindest thing ever, but some people hated her :S

I am somewhat superstitious. For example, if I bang my elbow. I'll immediantly bang the other, been doing this since when I was younger so, now its a habit .

I've walked under a ladder and let a black cat cross my path so, I'm not superstitious about those. I won't open an umbrella indoors. But, I do believe in karma the whole 'what goes around, comes around'. Though superstitions are interesting to read about, like I know in some hotels they won't have a 'floor 13' or 'room 13'

Well I won't open an umbrella indoors either, but that's mostly because I don't wanna knock things over when it goes flying open

I always open umbrellas indoors. Hotels don't like floor 13 or room 13 because they don't appeal to some customers and they can lose business.
