I don't think so...You could always ask the person selling it. It wasn't on any pony news sites or wikis that I've seen. How much are they selling it for? If it's high, it's most likely a custom.

There were 16 of them total, so I doubt it's a custom. Hmm...wonder where they're gonna be sold...

Though perhaps a strange idea for an official plush when the full mane 6 hasn't even been made yet.

I highly doubt it.  The particular character is a bit too random for it to be official.  Or maybe it'll be some collector's thing.  But I highly doubt they will release any character other than the main characters in plush form in actual stores.

I don't think it's official, but I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to make something completely random like that.

Like others said though; it does look too good to be Hasbro anyways.

That plush arrived on ebay around the same time as the Spike one and a few sellers had it - notably some who carried genuine plush items from other companies [Smurfs, Peanuts, etc].

I am undecided - its not a custom, not due to the volume - however it has no tags [either actual branding or the standard material/source information tags]. It is also a really random plush choice considering the toy lines core target market....I am not saying little girls dont like dragons, I am just saying the Spike plush is a more obvious seller.

At the moment I am going to think "fakie" or test run.

I've wondered about this plush and a few others too---I think they're bootlegs?  I see the Spike plush, and also one of Doctor Whooves a lot.

I dont think it's an official plush. Mine has no tags linking it to Hasbro, or any other company (nothing even for what it's made out of). I'd say it's custom or maybe bootleg.

I saw that earlier. I assume it comes from wherever the Spike plush came from, even if this one looks a lot nicer, they're in a similar situation; many items sold on Ebay, by different sellers, same pictures. Reverse image search doesn't find anything, and if you search on Devinatart, this plush isn't there, so I don't think it's a custom. I can't see it being anything other than a fakie, but, ugh it looks too good for that! And the price does seem high for a bootleg item? And the fact that all the sellers selling it are in the U.S. seems strange to me. I kind of want it though.
