Question for the Nirvana Accessory Collectors?

Hi all. I am not sure if this would go in the Nirvana forum, or since it is an accessory question, should this go in the Corral. Whatever the case, this post is not about your run of the mill accessory.

I am wondering if I do have the terry cloth that goes with the Nestie Baby?

Its pretty close but unfortunately the nestie baby one is not as dark in colour [a "hotter" pink if that makes sense ] and more rectangular in shape...however they could be another one of those sets that got the odd minor change in their accessories throughout their release I guess

Aww, how cute! The Nestie babies are some of my absolute favorites and she looks adorable there with her accessories!

hathorcat, that is what I was thinking. Possibly the cloth variant? It definitely something, as it is even sewn on the edges. Do you happen to have a very nice picture of the "hotter pink" cloth?

Hmmm......Thank you for the pictures. The first picture does make it look a lot lighter. However, now, I am wondering if there are two versions? The actual MIB photo shows a really dark cloth.

There could of course be 2 versions. I have only ever come across the cloth 4 or 5 times in all these years. Two of my friends have her MIB [hence the pic] and they are certainly a "warm hot" pink rather than a darker pink. And the couple of times I have seen it loose it has always been this shade as well.

But you never know! Did the cloth you have come with the set you have pictured? Or in an accessory lot? Or by itself? Is there a way to track back its history?

Hi again. Unfortunately, I have had to piece mill this set together. However, the cloth item came in a lot from a seller in the UK.

The only reason I asked was to try and see if the source threw any light on it...although we didnt get the set in the UK, there are certainly a lot of people due to the army who spent their growing up years in Germany only to later locate back to the UK...not to mention the holidays and gifts from relatives living overseas so its still possible even if it came from a childhood collection. I just cant offer any confirmation as the only ones I have seen are a slightly different shape and colour...hopefully someone else can.

Well, thanks for chatting about this. This is an interesting case. For right now, this terry cloth with be a nice stand in item until, hopefully, one day, I can get the other one. I just wish someone who actually had one of these would post a very clean looking / item by itself close-up picture of this.
