Weird BJD head cap hook attatchment thing?

So I just got my Luts DES in the mail (I am pretty sure she is Luts and not Fairy Land, though I am not sure if there is a difference between the sculpts) and she is weirding me out.

Is that thing on the inside of her head cap for the S hook?

I was going to pop her on my senior delf body for pictures, but now... not so much.

If it /is/ for the S hook, how the hell do I get it on there?

just twist the thing as the arrow says, and teh head comes right off.

But, her neck opening does not look like that.
It is just a hole, like my Senior Delf Annette head.

And her head cap does not twist on like my other delfs, it just sits there and has a weird thing hanging down from the middle of it with a hole in the middle of the thing.

She's a old Delf. The idea is that you put the s hook into the loop on the head cap. try looking at the lowest section here http://www.eluts.com/board/view.php?board_name=DREAMBOARD2&ID=75209&choose2=&choose1=&pagenow=&CB=

you can get donuts from mint on card for something like 2$

I've also used things like wads of wire and bobbypins as temporary head holders.
My soony may actually still be using a wad of wires
