Ditto that. I'm in the market, but I can never manage to save up money. The camera I have now was never supposed to be used for this kind of photography - I bought it as my "throw in my purse or stick in my pocket for when I go out with friends" camera. But shortly after getting it my big camera finally died.
I have always bought my own, partly because I can't imagine someone else spending that kind of money on me, and partly because I'm super picky The last camera I had before this one was a canon powershot S2 IS, which even after being "obsolete" for a few years was hands down the best camera I have ever owned. I would buy it again now, even though it's almost 8 years old and has a laughably small amount of MP. It took high quality photos with such little effort, and still allowed the photographer completely manual control, which is becoming rare for a consumer line point-and-shoot. So Versatile. I miss it dearly. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginzoo-ostrich02.jpg by NoDivision, on Flickr visitors can't see pics , please register or loginNZ-blackbird01.jpg by NoDivision, on Flickr visitors can't see pics , please register or loginIZ-highlandcow03 by NoDivision, on Flickr visitors can't see pics , please register or loginBSF-09.JPG by NoDivision, on Flickr
Those are lovely, Tuney! And it's not a Yak, it's a Scottish Highland Cow, and her name is Bonnie ^_^ She used to live at my zoo, but she recently moved to an awesome farm when we redesigned that area of the zoo. She was the sweetest cow ever, I miss her D:
