Anyone interested in possibly being involved in a toy drive?

    My Boyfriend works for a Nonprofit based out of chicago that helps procure donations and host drives.  they mostly do food and clothes etc.  but are noticing an upswing in their requests for good condition toys to battered womens shelters and Group home's etc.      I thought it would be extremely fun to get the pony community involved!   considering most of us have extra common g3's and other toys just laying around loose and MIB      ive already gone through some things and ended up with 3 bins of donatable toys so far that just arent worth the hassle of selling etc.

I was just curious if anyone would be interested in participating or donating to a toy drive (maybe around fall right before christmas)  in or around the Chicago area.   even shipped donations would be welcome.   also i know the Brony communities seem to really enjoy charities   anyone know how to go about contacting EQD to see if they would be interested?   

Thanks guys, im just brain storming!   i love kids, toys and charity  so i think having a big party/drive with ponies would be a fun way to hang out and do some good     any idea's would be helpful

There is a general submission link, and then there are emails for submissions to specific blog writers. I would submit it with the assumption that I will get no reply.

Just write up an email, include links, Say what you want it to say when they post it.. then send it in and see what happens. Sometimes they reply to you, sometimes they dont and they just post it.

One may refer to EqD here on the Arena, but not link to it. Hence the filter.

In that case, Just go to the equestriadaily web page, and then click on the link that says submit over on the right. There are email addresses listed in there.

How odd. I never realized they were a forbidden place. What did they do to get banned here?
