I have to put my custom on hold since we're preparing for hurricane Isaac. It's supposed to be here by tomorrow night. Hopefully it'll just dump a lot of rain and we won't lose power or anything. But if I do happen to disappear, that's why. Ugh.

Okay, after that fun adventure in painting, I scrubbed the pony and painted it again. It came out much better this time than the first time, and I have it sealed and ready to be rerooted! I already ordered the hair from Dollyhair, so I'm looking forward to that arriving!

I started the FBR last night. I ordered hair 2 weeks ago, but it hasn't gotten here yet. Hopefully this week - I ordered during the delay, but if it isn't here by mid-week I'm probably gonna be emailing Tina. Has anyone ordered hair this month and gotten it yet?

Update on the dollyhair order: I got tracking info today so I should have my hair this week or beginning of next week at the latest. Right on time actually, outside of the stated delay of 1-2 weeks. Took exactly 2 weeks - I placed the order August 13, it was ready to ship yesterday.

I've been waiting on mine quite a while too, but the site says to expect delays so I am not too worried yet. Rehairing is usually the last thing I do so I don't feel the pressure yet. I hope I ordered enough.

Yeah I knew about the delay too, wasn't quite sure how the weeks were being counted though so was getting a little nervous - more that I would've contacted her after this week though. I was just wondering if anyone had received orders since the delay message was put up, but now I have tracking info and everything so all is well - I have other parts to work on while I wait. I get nervous about if I ordered enough too though ;D

I hope I'm not going to need hair I should probably figure out what I want to use... it's been so long since I've had to order hair, I really hadn't thought about it.

Things are back to normal now so I plan on getting more sculpting done tonight

I've got some of the sculpting on the cutie mark finished  - its drying! Got the hair so I will rehair pony in the next couple of days...
