Okay, so I confess....I've been sweating bullets and felt my ideas weren't right.  I really don't want to disappoint my partner!  But today, I noticed something they mentioned that hadn't stood out before and I think I've got a design I'm happy with!  Phew!

I still haven't really started with my concept sketch, I have an exam on Friday so I should actually get back to studying now...

Nichi, that's cool too! I generally don't try doing that kind of thing, since I can't draw worth beans. Not pon ies, anyway. Not that I haven't tried before...

I gave up trying to get the mane out of the pony I was prepping - too much glue. I'm using one in the same pose that I had slated for something else and hadn't started yet. I shall continue pulling hair out (and hurting my thumb) later.

It doesn't have to look great. I just need to have a rough idea of where I'm going to put the colors sometimes.

Finally sat down to make some sketches and got some neat ideas! I just hope I'm not being too literal with my partner's likes. I mean, I hope they won't look at it and feel like they've seen it already. Well, I still have plenty of time to polish and fine-tune these ideas. Anyway, the biggest problem I have now is that I must can't decide on the colours! I keep staring at my B&W sketch, trying to picture different colour combinations, but the body colour especially eludes me. *sigh* Maybe I'll browse some customs made by other people for inspiration...

ok I've been struggling with picking a bait and spent a few *hours* swapping G3 heads and bodies for a repose LOL. While I found a few I like, they weren't right for this....but now I think I've come up  with one that will work.
I have a vague idea that I know involves some sculpting and some blood.

Candy- hmmmm, don't eat much of it, but I am a huge gummi bear fan =) Reeses PB cups are also a weakness.
