customs with added hair plugs and/or bangs! I have an idea for a custom, however the fakie I have greatly lacks hair, not to mention a big, goofy forehead I would love to cover up I needed some inspiration on how I wanted to do her hair plugs :3 I can't wait to see!

I have one where I did a bouffant. I'd make it bigger next time though, more plugs, more hair, etc. I was worried about running out of hair so hers is small:

Added a bunch of plugs in front of the ears to give this effect, might be nice for covering the forehead and making it look sassy

Aww thank you! She was really really fun to make, I really liked how the pastel color scheme I chose worked out too, if I don't say so myself ;3 Seriously, thanks for the compliment!

Somewhere there's a diagram of where to put these extra plug holes, I used that as a reference. I wouldn't even know where to begin looking for it right now, it's been so long since I customized or did anything pony (way too long!), but maybe someone more knowledgeable will know what I'm talking about, I found it pretty helpful even just as a rough idea to kinda refer to.

Alatariel, I LOVE those big, thick curly bangs on Twinight! Those are gorgeous!

i added lots of plugs for this one. i did a second row of plugs, like 50+ on top of her head plus the bangs. i just wish the bangs would stay flat

I added bangs to this Persona custom I did for the Persona Swap. In retrospect, I should have added more plugs...

I did a few, but was so new at them that I didn't take enough pictures. U_U; But here is my Hyde!Pony (who had close to 400 plugs to get that crazy braiding).

Best advice is to make a thin pencil marking where you intend to have the bangs before you put them in so you can see how it will look before you puncture the plastic. It's easier to add than to cover up and get it symmetrical again. I really can't wait to see your creation!

They both turned out amazing though! You're a total natural :3 I really hope I can get at least one custom made before the meet! That is my goal. lol I'm just waiting on my rehairing tool :>

When I started this girl I didn't realize the G4 RD ponies had such a funky hairline so I had to add some extra plugs in order to make her look acceptable.

Oh, and I almost forgot... I add extra hair plugs to all of my DG baby customs because they come with only one row of hair plugs and a funky, receding hairline. I always add an extra row and a few extra in the front.
