Some people are just introverts and/or like to read. There is nothing wrong with that and that's how I have always been. I don't like when people try to "diagnose" the ponies. That's how we end up with Ditzy Doo style controversies.
Agreed. I'm an introverted person who doesn't make friends easily. That doesn't mean i have Asperger Syndrom.
I think all the ponies have traits that people can relate with in one way or another. That is what the show is about, to teach children about friendship and morals. They want us to connect with certain characters.
I think the mane six are supposed to have traits and qualities that most everyone can identify with. Some are shy, some are bookish, some are creative, some are athletic, some are outgoing, some are always ready to help out. The list goes on. If we can see some of ourselves in the ponies, (and we may identify with one or more), it just makes it that much more enjoyable to watch.
