sad to hear! There's no known cure for 'pony cancer?' that worries me.. I haven't had any problems so far.. but most of my ponies are G2-current. Does it spread to other ponies?
You might try a jar half filled with water and half with peroxide. I haven't tried a blue pony yet for color testing but I have a yellow pony in a jar. It takes weeks though and you must remove tail/washer.
