PVC Sea Ponies from Portugal?!?! Tell me more!! :D

So I saw these on eBay for the first time ever!
Sooo cool!! I love them!! And I don't even like sea ponies haha!
Are they rare?? Pc? How big are they?
Have any??

I believe they are quite small, about the size of a G3 breezie pony. I have Pinwheel from the same keyring set and she's the size of a breezie.

About the size of a breezie sounds about right They're surprisingly heavy (or not, depending on  how you look at it!) They were sold as both necklaces and keyrings from what we know (necklaces confirmed MOC). There are also earth (Applejack and Peachy), unicorn (Pinwheel and Starflower) and pegasus (Firefly and Hearthrob ones). There are three baby sea ponies, and in my experience, those are the harder to find ones. I only have one of the three (and am also missing Applejack still).

Just got my first one (Peachy) from yum-yum. 

Yeah, I saw the Ebay listings.  I dunno, they're neat, but I wouldn't pay that much for them.  I think the seller was asking $50 each.

I love sea ponies, but something about these is a little creepy to me! I like the actual pony ones but not that price for that size!

Some googling told me they were made in 1984 by a company called Maia & Borges they were primarily sold in Germany and a few other European countries.

I have 4 of them (just the "earth" ponies - sadly no sea ponies) and I've bought them all in France.

Never found any in Germany but that means nothing =)

And $50 is way to much =) - I would expect $15-25 but not more.... well it's always up to the buyer
