Yeah in her promos 2.0 had the better eyes. On another note the 1st DT has different eyes than previous releases as well as the closed mouth fangs. SS Lala has the same style face but the Lala in in the 5pk has open mouth fangs and dlightly different eyes. I cant vouch for any other Lalas though because i havent 100% kept up with her

Since I'm not supposed to start any new MH threads, I'll ask my question here: I have a couple of dolls with paint smears on their arms and/or legs, and I've read that nail polish remover doesn't play nicely with the body plastic, so I am wondering what I should use to remove the paint smears instead?

Acetone-free nail polish remover, perhaps? :)

I have also found that a Mr Clean Magic eraser has helped me a couple of times. It may take a fair bit of elbow grease, but I have gotten a few smudges off with them.

So, here's mine:  How do I paint Cupid's lips? just find an appropriate color of acrylic and seal?

for removing paint removal-- I have seen people suggest emery boards...and just a light bit of sanding

as for Cupid's lips, I just used acrylic paint ^_^

I didn't know there was such a thing!

What exactly does the acetone do to the body plastic? Does it melt it?

I'm glad that acrylic paint will work on their faces. I wiped off my 2.0 Lagoona's lipstick -- I reckon they put too much on her face, which was making her mouth look too big; I tried just making it smaller by wiping away the edges but I accidentally took off too much on one side so I just wiped her mouth clean and now I need to repaint her lips. I have a whole bunch of acrylic paints that I bought for repainting my plastic miniatures, so it's good to know I can just use them. Now I just need to settle on a color ...

Has anyone here done a face-up using Prismacolors + clear sealant?

My sister bought 2 CAM packs and wants me to do faceups and reroots for her (since she'll be making their clothes) but my painting skills aren't the strongest. I've seen tutorials on Prismacolor / watercolor pencil faceups and I think that would work best for me, but I'm worried the colours won't be as bold on their faces.

Is there anything I can do to even out this Frankie's eyes without completely wiping off the left one and repainting it (because I would not feel confident doing that):

I've used the corners of really gentle emery boards to file off the paint on really small areas where acetone could smudge the paint around. Perhaps you could try that and then repaint with an extremely thin brush. (The ones that have only a few hairs.)

OK. What parts should I rub off, though? The trouble is that her left eye was painted on too far to the left. I was thinking that maybe if I took a bit off the right edge of her right eye, it might make things look a little more even. I dunno, though.

Question: I saw a set of box comparisons for Signature (Wave 1) Frankie. One was the older box and one was the new style [I'll post it, it isn't my picture, though, so if I am not allowed to post others photos, I apologize and will remove]

They title it 2012 comparison. Was there a re-release of her wave 1, or is this a future kinda thing?

Oh cool. Maybe I can just wait and get a new one rather than try to do anything with my one's face.

Okay, so I haven't missed something? Cool :)

Like, with Abbey coming back out, I was hoping for this kind of thing. I would like to have this Frankie, but I would LOVE to have the Ghoulia and Lagoona [well, both wave 1 and wave 2 of Goona] :)

I need help.  I've been trying to re-root, but I'm failing miserably.  I think I need to know what type of needle to use.  Also, I'm using curly hair.  Struggling with that.  I think just using the right needle will help, though.  What are you all using?
