G4 Animal friends

So I got all my animal friends that were stored away in a box in my closet due to moving recently out and put them on display on top of my jewelry box. I really like them and am curious as to how many are out there. Was there one made for every pony or are they in sets too? I'd like to collect them all.

So far I have the following:

Pink cat
White rabbit
Purple Swan
Yellow Bee
Pair of Chipmunks (one figure)
Purple Bird
Red Parrot
Pink Pig
Yellow Hamster
Yellow duck
Purple/grey Raccoon
Blue Bird

Anyone else collect these? I like them because they kinda look like littlest pet shop and I really want to get into that but am worried I don't have space!

Most singles come with an animal friend. A lot of sets come with them, too.

There's a LOT of little bunnies, squirrels, and chipmunks.

my favorites are the pig and the yellow duck!  the white dog is cute too, but he's trapped MIB in my rd camping set atm.

Oh my, there's a lot more than I thought! I want them all but I don't want to have to go through the trouble of buying all the apple jacks, rainbow dashes and other main ponies to get them!

I agree that the pig is so cute. I love the pink cat too and the raccoon!

I have no idea, I don't display mine due to lack of room, once I get a better way to display my G4s, then I'll display them. They are cute though.

I'm hoping to get Flitterheart soon, a large part of which is because her pet pig is so precious! I also quite like Lily Blossom's white swan and Cupcake's raccoon.

I have the pig and Winona displayed with my Applejack barn. I have the blue bird sitting on Twilight's Balloon too. The rest are tucked away with my accessories.

I actually think the Pig and the Hamster are the cutest 

... and is it just me or does the Bee look more like a yellow rabbit wearing orange clothes and flashing us? I'm sorry lol, every time I see it I see this naughty bunny before I see a bee... I almost threw the bee out when I got Honeybuzz but I saved it in case they ever become rare or sought after because of people throwing them away... which I doubt will happen because I've heard a lot of people say the same thing about saving theirs!

I love the little animals! Its a winning point for me with the G4 line...but I will warn you that there are a lot to track down

Its not just individual ponies [and the likes of the main 6 whose re-releases sometimes have alternate companions] but a lot of the sets [Fluttershys Nursery, Cheerilees Picnic and many more] have yet further recolours! It would be an amazing collection to have them all

Maybe you could make a post over in the Wanted forum to say you are looking to buy for them and some people who may not be keeping them could help out?

My fav is the duck that came with luggage toting Rainbow Dash!

I agree with hathorcat! You should post over in the Wanted section and see if you can buy some of them, if you like collecting them. I think some people probably just throw them out or keep them in a bag somewhere, and wouldn't mind parting with them...

When I got DD AJ when they first came out, I didn't get why she had a dog  (now it makes sense). But she just got RD with the duck and I'm thinking, "shouldn't she have a turtle?". The other pony she has came with a hamster.

With the mane 6, they've released Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, AJ, and Twilight Sparkle with their pets, though AJ is the only one that has a pet Animal Friend that has colors like the one in the show (Fluttershy comes close too though, only difference is that Angel bunny doesn't have a bow in the show). Besides that, the mane 6 usually get random animal, and I think non-mane 6 get an animal that "matches" them (like Feathermay's parrot)
