Quick help for an old lady
« on: July 19, 2012, 07:28:41 PM »
Are where the heck did they move the numbers on the wave 3 purple bags for US release?  We spotted a whole case today at my old TRU and looked but could find no number.  Are Thoth and I both blind now or are they gone?

And I know someplace there is a thread about it, but sadly me and search are not getting along tonight.

I remember seeing a thread about it, too. Like the numbers changed and moved somewhere else. I'll stick around to see if anyone knows- I saw the wave 3s in TRU, but there was only one packet left, and I couldn't tell who it was..

Yeah we tried the moving it up to the hole trick but with them in those plastic holders it was worthless.  I hope someone takes some pity on me.  We just want a second glow in the dark Rarity.   Then I want wave 4 to get it's butt here cause we need a little over half of them.

I'd like to know too! We finally god blind bags in at my Walmart and I was so tempted to buy some! I of course only want the glitter ponies lol.. maybe the main cast too. Anywho, at two dollars a pony I didn't want to risk getting some I don't want. Next time I'm there though if I can do the trick I'll pick some up! There was a whole box full. I don't really think kids around here are into Pony that much.

Do you mean the numbers on the bag so you can figure out which it is?  It's on the little overlapping sleeve.  It's a five digit number, and the second and fourth numbers together make the number of the pony.  So if, for example, the number was 12345, the pony would be #24.

Edit: looking at one of mine right now.  The number's right under the hole used to hang the bags on a peg, you have to flip the little overlapping tab over cuz the numbers are on the underside and upside down when you look at it on the outer purple side of the tab.

They can be stamped on surprisingly lightly...I picked up a few tonight and even in a bright supermarket I was squinting to make out 1s from 4s...

Well the lighting was not too good despite being up front in a cart of reshop by the window.  I am not too worried about this wave but I hope they make them darker on wave 4!
