I found this Sofie at Tuesday Morning but wasn't really happy with her make up.  She's kind of got a shiny face.  But, after putting this wig on, I changed my mind.  So cute.

Now I need that red wig I've been meaning to buy (Jude's!!!!).  At least you can find THAT one easy enough   Also I stumbled across one I've NEVER seen before, so I hope I can mentally let that one go or........it'll be the death of me   I hear it's a wave 1 wig or something

It's nearly impossible to find now.  It came in some sort of 2 pack back in the day.  The stock photo for it is HORRID.  I had been craving a green wig pretty much for forever, and was so sad the only green wig they made was "ugly."  Then I saw a custom clothing seller using a doll wearing the green wig to model her clothes.  I almost died   How could a stock photo be so very wrong?

I paid a pretty penny for it (and ONLY it.  It didn't come with any of the extras that came in the wig pack) but I'm perfectly fine with that.  It is retired, and HTF.  I'm just so glad the website didn't steal my money

What is your grail wig, Taxel?

My new grail wig I found out about not long after I ordered the green wig   Such is life!  I found it while looking at Picklepud's Flickr.  He created a OOAK LIV doll.  He named her Prue.  I think I would kill for this doll!  Anyway, her wig is my new grail   Why can't I just be happy with what I have?

rosierjay Oh, that is a pretty wig on Prue.  I love those colors and the part is perfect.  You find such wonderful things.

I know what you mean, Kitter! I paid a pretty penny for Jude's wig but it was SO worth it! I know my uncle paid a decent chunk for my grail wig as well. What wig is Prue wearing, do you know? I must have it too!

This one was my grail wig. I apparently have no decent photos of mine, neither show its true color, but its the natural strawberry blonde-ish colored wig. Its not as red as I wish it was, but its still really pretty.

OMG That green wig looks so perfect!!! I remember I wanted one, but from what I researched (or tried searching with little to no resources on the internet. =_=;) If there was a green wig, and the only closest one was the brown and green one that came with Original Katie. lol for a moment I thought we'd finally be able to see one of your photos of your girls but it was picklepuds instead. His Liv photos are so awesome compared to his MH ones. Too bad he doesn't post any more of them or partake in this thread. I really Like that blue dress that his Sophie has on, it'd be perfect for Capri.

I'm not too sure if these wigs are dyeable RJ, I'd be too scared to dye and possibly ruin one especially after the line has died out. >,<; From what I remember, there's that wig that Taxle posted, as well as an orange neonish kinda wig that came with the Target Liv Brites Alexis.

I tried dyeing a red LIV wig darker.  It's not nylon hair and it didn't take any dye at all, even black dye just would not take even a little bit.

Taxel:  Pickle says in the comments of that photo series, that it's a Wave 2 Liv wig.  I've been searching like a crazy woman, and NOTHING.  I can't even find promo pics, or very old screen grabs from a shopping site, or a brag thread with box opening photos:(  It's like it never existed   I knew you'd like it:) 

I like your grail wig too.  I've seen it plenty lately, while searching for "the wig that never was."

Hmmm, maybe I should press my luck and check that sketchy site again

Luvly:  Sorry no pictures from me:(  I don't enjoy taking pics like you all do   It's actual work for me I just don't have the patience for it.  I gotta work on that though, because I have so many things to brag about, but brags are only good when you have pics to go along with them.

That's such a shame! I wish I'd gotten into these dolls when they were first released so we could have nice records. Or heck I wish anyone had gotten really into them and made a wiki or something!


Not so new photos of my newest girl. She's still nameless because coming up with over 20 unique Beatles themed names is really really hard. x.x I still have a handful of unnamed girls, most over a year old!
