G3 brushes for sure. Combs (especially g4) can't handle snarls as well and bend easily.

Combs for cleaning my pony's hair, but not the toy ones. I like the look of the toy brushes, though.

My favourite tool is a G3 McDonald's comb.  The one that came with Star Swirl.  I also like to use a soft-bristled toothbrush.
