Zhu Zhu Ponies?!?!?!?

There have been recent topics about Zhu Zhu stuff, so I thought I'd start this one. I was browsing the Internet for ponies when I came across a picture of Zhu Zhu ponies! I know there are Zhu Zhu babies that are ponies, but I never thought they would actually make real Zhu Zhu pet ponies!!!

They look like a mix of g2 and g4 MLP...  I don't really like the idea of them, I really miss when Cepia used to make hamster Zhu Zhu Pets that were realistic colors and didn't include unicorn horns or pink and purple puppies! They have really been going down hill for a while... It looks like they are trying to copy FiM and MLP in general! Check out what they wrote in their press release:

"ZhuZhu Pets® Ponies Backstory
ZhuZhu Pets® Ponies are a group of playful pony friends that live within the Zhu-niverse®. Each pony has its own unique personality, which is reflected through its symbol. During their adventures together, ZhuZhu Pets® Ponies discover their inner talents and learn that their differences are what makes their friendship so special."
It sounds so much like FiM! And their symbols are in the same place as MLP's cutie marks are! They are obviously trying to copy MLP!

Hasbro has done the same thing before though! The fall following the ZZP craze Hasbro came out with Furry Frenzies, which were complete copies of Zhu Zhu Pets!! Hasbro sunk really low that year, and that's why I have mixed feelings about them.

So, what do you think about Zhu Zhu Ponies? Do you consider them fakies? Would you buy one? Do you think other toy companies are taking advantage of FiM's popularity?

Normal Zhu Zhu Pets retail at about $10. So about $10 maybe?

I am wondering if they will have playsets with codes on them? And if they will have code readers on the bottom of them that react to older Zhu Zhu playsets?

They will probably make horse noises/neighing and galloping. And also random noises like springs and horns and what not.

So, at first glance I thought Bonnie was super cute, but then I realized something ...

Their legs have been sewn together!  If you look at Bonnie's front legs, you will see that she has no legs. Just a big blob of fabric, where 2 separate legs should be. Boo. Definitely not interested.

OMG I googled some images (had heard of the Zhu Zhu pony babies but not the adults)...I totally need all of them!  Actually they will replace my G4's I believe.
