Oh no! dxgirly, you said this sort of thing about Monster High too. I think that you might make it hard for yourself if you try to complete every set! I know this isn't what you have, but I used to have a problem where - an offshoot of my depression - I compulsively bought items. I wouldn't be able to stop thinking about the item until I bought it and then I'd really regret it! I know you are a perfectionist instead, but I find that less is more for me when it comes to collecting. It's sort of like...a really good dessert. I find that if I go to a really nice restaurant, and the dessert is perfect, it is very small, so after the last bite I'm still wistful for more, but that makes the small portion I had all the more memorable. That's why I pick favourites and get only a few items. I really get a chance to enjoy those ones. This is my own personal way of course. But I get distressed if it's just a sea of collectibles and I can't attach significance to each one. I want every single one to be special! I'm getting poetic and long-winded now... What I mean is, I've taught myself to wait at least 48 hours or more to think about something that I want. If I still want it after 48 hours, I consider my options and make sure I can afford the item, and that it is useful to me somehow. Of course, violating the rule now and then does happen sometimes but I am usually pretty strict about this!I'm not sure if that will be helpful to you, but I think choosing favourites is a good way to go about it! You want to enjoy yourself and not feel stressed by your hobby.
