US Blind Bags Wave 3 and Wave 4- Where have they been found?

Found wave 4 at Walmart... the whole box sold out in an hour or two! 
But yeah...now I'm not sure if Wave 3 is still around.

Finally found an FYE at a mall in my city. Went and they had half a box of Wave 3 BB left. I luckily found 3 I needed but at $3 ea quite pricey. Oh well I suppose for the harder to find items it's worth it. Just wish these new waves would stick around a bit longer.

Not necessarily. I've found a wave 3 box at both of my local Wal-Marts. The one closest to me, I last found a box a month ago, and since then, they've only gotten one wave 4 box, which sold out immediately. The other Wal-Mart, which is about 8 miles away from me, had a wave 3 box just a few days ago, which I cleared out. It does seem, though, like Wal-Mart only orders 1-2 boxes at a time (I guess they figure 24 per box is supposed to last? lol) so once someone buys out the box, they then have to order again. And apparently Hasbro didn't make as many boxes of wave 3 (doesn't surprise me since they're trying to catch up now that they know how popular these are) and are now only shipping boxes of wave 4. At this point, I'm glad I finished my wave 3 collection since I don't imagine I'll see any more in the stores. Now if I can only find a box of wave 4s that isn't empty.

Nothing at the FYE at Union Station in DC. Debating checking the FYE at my local mall today. Not a big fan, but there's an H&M there now, too...

One of my Walmarts last night had two Wave 4's. Two of them. Argh, why not Wave 3? D:
Last time I was at my TRU, they had a nearly-full Wave 1 box. Hopefully they eventually get Wave 3 so I can get Lyra and the Glow in the Dark ponies.  Kicking myself in the butt for not buying them when I was visiting NYC.

Forgot to mention, I got a glow rarity and she is bright. I took her into my pitch dark bathroom and I could practically use her as a flashlight!

Wave 2 wasn't released in the USA, and is no past in the rest of the world too, so pretty hard to find now. There are 3 of them in the Toys R Us "Friendship Celebration Collection" set with 9 from wave 1 and 23 little accessories. See the first post in this thread.

LOL! I got that. I was just expressing my general disappointment in hasbro`s distribution. I really appreciate all the work you put into this thread.

Have we found out WHY Wave 2 wasn't released in the US?

I don't think anyone has heard a 'why'. The Hasbro Q&A at the MLP Fair mentioned that the reason they brought blind bags at all to the US is because the fans here expressed interest in them when they came out in Europe. Of course, the Hasbro rep there also didn't understand that they were skipping a wave: "Are we really skipping wave 2?" was answered with "No, I have wave 2 right here!" (and points at Wave 3 box).
