Advice on Monster High customizing

Just wondering what you guys think...I want a green base body.  Should I get Venus McFlytrap or go for the build a werecat/witch kit?  I can re-root, but I've fallen in love with a lot of mohair wigs out there.

Questions I have:

Which would hold together better of the afore mentioned options?

Can I rehair, or rather hair the witch?

What are your preferences between the two (whole doll or kit) and why?

You can root the witch. She has a hard head but many people have still done it. I would save Venus for the people who really want her and get the witch.

I agree with Dibbles not only because other people can get Venus, but because the witch is easier to find,comes with an additional doll, and you have more of an option you reroot or rewig, because she's bald. And if you don't want the werecat, you can always sell her, and use the money to buy some of the supplies you need to make a custom. But that's just what I think :3

Yes, the hard head caps can be re-rooted, I did it!

I used a thick gauge needle heated in the flame of a candle to melt holes in the hard head cap.
