Rehairing a Dream Beauty...

Hi! I cant find anything about this, does anyone have any experience with rehairing a Dream Beauty?

I have a Mane Wave with a bad hair cut and I´d like to restore her as she is still lovely. I like her, but I´d like her more with nice, long hair 

Are there any tutorials or will I have to make my own?

I've customized and rehaired a similar style, but I've never actually seen a dream beauty up close. However if you're able to, I started by sticking a screwdriver down the slot that has the mane and slowly trying to pry the body apart, you'd have to use gentle pressure so as not to break the pegs.. it's very difficult, and I had a very old one that the glue was worn out on.

I know with hard bodied models, some ppl recommend cropping the mane as short as possible, then stuffing new plugs in on top. I haven't tried it yet myself.
