thanks Varkolak! He was handfed, so very very tame<3 And he used to love sitting on my head! (He's a Wild Boy now... lost to the Aviary and freedom & peer pressure of the "wild" budgies I keep in there!) Your darlings are beautiful - I have a thing for the white ones - so regal! What are their names?

A cute story: My boyfriend's mum has tonnes of birds - many cockatiels and one dove and one big ole pigeon (the other pigeons picked on him) all live together in bliss. Well, the dove and the pigeon are in love, and he will sit on her eggs for her! I just thought that was so adorable<3

This is Bongo. This picture is kinda shoddy, but I can't use the flash because it scares him and I can't take pictures of him when he's out of his house or he'll get aggressive and try and bite the camera

Here he is trying to eat the camera thru the bars of his cage. He's actually pretty nice, he just hates cameras and things that cover my face.

OH HOW CUTE!!! Bongo looks so sweet and ornery!

Crimson, my birds are Mimic (green), Barnacle (Blue), and Athena (White)

Mimic was taken in, my brother's dad had bought her for my bro when he'd go to visit, but he was very rough with her and then decided she was too much work since my bro wasn't there much, so i said i'd take her. she's come a long way from how she was. she's adventurous and she'll land on my head, but that's as much human contact as she likes. she's named after mimic the pony lol

Barnacle was bought at a pet store, she looked like she was about to drop any second and i really thought she was going to die. i bought her and brought her home just to get her out of there (i couldn't let her die there) she couldn't even climb the side of her cage without falling down and panting so hard. i gave her medicine, got rid of her diareah, and mimic would find ways to escape and feed her food! regergitated right into her mouth and she started getting better real fast, by 2 days she's was ready to get out and fly! i was really surprised! she's named after barnacle the pony (i had originally thought she was a boy, and since i paried up mimic and barnacle in pony form, i thought it'd be cute)

Athena was another "i feel bad, i need her!" thing. i wanted a pure white budgie *drools, i love them* and she had been sitting in the shop for a few weeks, the guy would tell everyone she was mean and they wouldn't want to buy her. she sat there by herself huddled in the corner and i finally gave in and said i wanted her. she's part grey and mostly white, but i didn't care, i felt bad that he said those things about her. i took her home and she's the tamest, sweetest one in my flock! she'll hop on my hand, and she keeps to herself, but she's very tame. she's not mean at all! she's never even bit me. she loves being in with mimic and barnacle, even though she doesn't play with them. she's a real sweet girl and i'm glad i got her!

Everyone has such beautiful birds! I wish that I could own doves, but, with chickens, my hands are a bit full at the moment.
Rather than spam the thread with pictures of all of my birds, I'll just post a few of my favorites. 

This is Peeve - who, quite literally, lives up to her name most of the time. For anyone wondering, she's a Salmon Favorelle hen.
