The are from Lady Lovely Locks, specifically the birds are hair clips and are called pixietails.  Maiden CurlyCrown is the character that had birds as her main pixietails although she can also be seen with snails in some merchandise. 

All the girls (and the prince) in this series had pixietails and they were all different animals:
mice, rabbits, chipmunks, turtles, fish, sea horses, butterflies to name a few.

The evil Duchess Ravenwaves had comb gnomes.
