Makeup! Do you use it?

Never!  I'm very sensitive, so most makeup makes me break out.  Even if I wasn't allergic, though, I wouldn't wear it.  I don't like the way it makes me look.  When I wear makeup, the only thing I can think is "That's not me."  Totally like Mulan in the song "Reflections."

For those of you who are saying you have trouble figuring out how to wear makeup, there are lots of excellent fashion and beauty blogs with video tutorials.  I like this one, I stumbled across it trying to figure out how to do easy but cute hairstyles (I'm lazy with my hair usually, but ponytails are getting old):  http://blog.jessicaharlow.com/  This girl is gorgeous and always looks so pretty!  I don't feel like her makeup looks overdone, which is nice too.

I wear foundation, pressed powder, eyeshadow, eyeliner, black mascara, lipliner and lipstick.

All in an attempt to make it appear that I'm not wearing any!!!!

I didn't really start wearing it until this year, I wear it on days that I feel like looking glamorous (and can be bothered getting out of bed on time) but I only ever wear light eyeliner, mascara and maybe a little lip gloss.

Not usually. The Sixth Form in my school are allowed some basic makeup, but I never use it then because that required co-ordination in the morning that I use on eating breakfast.

When I go out someplace fancy, though, I'll put on some basics, face powder, mascara, lippy, that's it.
Someone mentioned that they don't use colourful lipstick because they have really full lips and that amused be mecause I have pretty full lips too and it always looks better with lipstick, ahahahahahahaha.......

Went into Boots today, so much pretty makeup.. Why can't I afford it I'm in serious need of new foundation (the kind I've got is horrible, and it's running out also) and eyeshadow.. and then I saw the Max Factor lipsticks and went to lippy heaven. Oh well, perhaps my family will help me out a little.. It comes under 'college shopping', right?

What about perfumes? What are everyone's favourite scents?

The last time I wore makeup was our wedding (3 years ago), and before that was prom, which was more at my mom's proding (and she did it for me), (8 years ago). Before that I don't even remember. I know I had to wear it for dance class, but that's different.

I always have lip chap nearby, and wear it when needed. The only other make-up type thing I wear more often is nail polish (and probably a bit more often now that I found a colour I love).

I suppose I wear nail polish, but only on my toes.  I always have my hands in acetone or something, so they never stay nice.  I wear a lot of sandals in the summer and everyone else at the office wears toenail polish, so...

As for perfume, YES.  I wear perfume.  Right now I am addicted to Bath & Body Works Secret Wonderland, but I also like their Twilight Woods and Black Amethyst, VS's Love Spell, and Dior's Dolce Vita.

But Mr. Skeen must wear Joop.  At all times.  This is not negotiable.

Oh, I do use perfume everyday ! I enjoy fresh and fruity perfumes~

As for polish, I love it ! I hadn't used any for a while, but I felt like it yesterday and now both my fingers and toes have a lilac colour I also like odd colours, like green, blue, yellow, black... you know xD

cherry blossom. definitely. I guess any perfume with cherry blossom scent can come ^^

ah, and just seeing the last couple of posts: if nail polish counts, I wear them too. although recently I've also become a bit lazier with that too (in the end before finishing university I had so damn much to study I just didn't have the time for things like that -___- )

I will very occasionally treat myself to a pedicure, but mostly I do my own.  Has anyone tried the weird new Sally Hanses magnetic colors?  I bought the reddish one and I was skeptical, but once on it really did look cool!

I don't wear perfume a lot, but when I do, it's usually Warm Vanilla Sugar from Bath and Body Works.

I wear perfume everyday.. my favourite has to be Chanel (Coco), but as I can no way afford it, it shall be on my xmas list this year!

For UK ponyfolk, I really do recommend Scent From Heaven. They're a little independant company who make their own scents, and they are indeed heavenly.. My favourite has got to be their Baby Powder scent, although I also adore Bubblegum and Raspberry (smells like sherbet!!). It's only £2 a bottle as well!
