saddle sores already.....on FS pinky

another hasbroken story. i can not believe my brand new Fashion Style Pinky Pie i bought today has saddle sores on her back just like the problem some G1's get after sitting in their pink plastic play set saddles for years on end.
i should be grateful as she might have been the last pinkie in the shops as iv been hunting for her and rarity after deciding all this time to finally get some FS into my collection.....better late then never but i think its too late to find any rarity's now 

has anyone else found this problem, is it worth troubling myself to bug hasbro about it, she also had some pretty nasty dirty finger marks on her face and legs that washed of OK.

i know so many peeps have complained about these G4 i just wanted to share my latest disappointment with my latest G4 buy

I'm sorry to hear that, unfortunately, Hasbro doesn't seem to learn from past mistakes =Z
The very first thing I did after getting my FS Rarity was taking everything out for fear of saddle or shoes sores

yer i can't believe the dye from her skirt thing has seeped into her vinyl/plastic so quick, for pinky the biggest reason for getting her other then looking so cute in all her pinkness was for her gorgeous cute wee accessories and clothing, im more the rarity fan, i would be so gutted if this happened to rariy when i finally get her, being white and all it will be very noticeable.

btw i was really hoping to display her in her accessories im wondering if i can put something under her shirt/saddle thingy to stop it from getting worse

I've used vinegar (I think it was?) to help keep clothing known to stain dolls from staining them. Maybe try that?

i know sun faded my g1 skydancer helped her's but to do a g4 it might have different out comes like fading of the vinyl it self

as soon as i got my rarity wearing a skirt in the carousel playset home i took it of her as fear of saddle sore's crossed my mind, i never actually thought it would happen with a G4

"Saddle sores" are really nothing to do with quality. Anytime a darker plastic is in contact with a lighter for a long time there will be staining. Really the only way to avoid it would be to pack the pony with the saddle off to the side but it doesn't look as pretty.

Unfortunately this is true...over time any darker plastic/vinyl will probably leech/rub on to anything it is in constant and reasonably tight contact with.

It is incredibly disappointing however that this can happen so quickly however If its really bad you perhaps should report it...just be careful they dont try and replace it with some random different pony!

i know, iv never seen new dirty G1 out of pack or in with horrible greasy fingerprints, they must of made cut backs on their QC

I feel for you! I got the Ride Along With Rainbow Dash set, and she's got some lovely divets on her legs and head from where the accessories were clipped on her. I wish they'd package the accessories off of the pony! Now I'm paranoid and nothing can touch the ponies!

i just don't think there is much thought in their actions these days, you would think they would think hummm, that bright pink cape might run onto pony hummmmmm
if i wasn't so in ore in the way she looks with her gorgeous curly hair i would be more upset
