Can Soft Sleepy Newborn Hushabye be sunfaded?
« on: July 09, 2012, 06:04:08 PM »
My darling sweet baby arrived today from ebay! :enthralled: :enthralled:
I practically destroyed the box she came in.
Only to find her head stained pink!  :cloud: :cloud: :cloud:

I was wondering if she could be sunfaded like a regular pony.
Or should I just cut my losses and sell/trade her as is?

I can't decide if I want to dance around and celebrate her arrival, or cry about her flaws.

EBay! When was she on Ebay? I have been searching for her for so long....

Congrats!

I don't see why not. Do search for sunfading here on the Corral. It might just be further down the page.
 >_<^.^

She was listed on June 20th.
I found her randomly while surfing ebay, she was listed as-
Vintage My Little Pony 1987 Hasbro 9".
:3
I can't tell if it's highlighter or the packing material the seller used. :/

I found the sun fading thread
http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,301723.0.html

The California sun is nice and strong right now so it should fade fast! Have you tried alcohol, acetone, and/or magic eraser?

There was one with the same title only 10" instead of 9" and it went for $87!

 >_<^.^

That could be a breakdown in the plastic unfortunately...kind of like how some plastic which gets damp can develop pink or yellow stains...not "regrind" but a result of breakdown anyway...however hopefully it isnt that and its just a stain from the packaging in which case I would certainly give her a sun fade just in case you look to be in the right bit of the world for her to pack in some rays :)
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
Loa is my love god!
I love Loa more than PonyLady!
