Rehairing a Daddy Berrytown?

hey,

I was wondering if anyone has ever rehaired a family pony, and actually dyed the horizontal streaked colored in?

I would love to see pics.. Also, I want to rehair mine.. I need suggestions..

I have rehaired several Big brothers and Mountain Boys, but I have never dyed the streak.  I just ususall use a different color!

I know people have custom-dyed the horizontal stripes before, but I don't have any pictures.  It would probably be a lot like dyeing a gradient.

do you think if i were to get white hair, RIT dye, and some how section off the hair so it doesnt bleed.. then spray the coloring on?

You don't have to spray it. Just lay the hair flat on a stack of paper towels and very carefully drizzle the dye over the part you want to color using a squeeze bottle or (if you're really careful) a plastic spoon, then let it dry.

This, but I use an old cheap paintbrush.
