I think the reason a lot of MH dolls were entered was that they've caught 'the modeling fever' from all the awesome stuff on ANTM. They're kind of 'mentally prepared' for it, if that makes sense. I think MH dolls are a great (and WAY cheaper) way to get started in the doll world. They are also so fun to pose! I think as this cycle goes along people with non-MH dolls will get inspired and get their gears rolling. I think we'll see more non-MH dolls in the next cycle.
I'm the only one who entered a Tonner doll, and I got a better evaluation than I expected. At the time I shot this she had 0 clothes and 0 shoes. She now has a swimming suit (I found the most amazing fabric) and a stunning pair of black platform stilettos. I'm kind of 'using' the competition as an
excuse reason to make/acquire some more clothes/shoes for her.
I am loving everyone's dolls! I can't wait to see everyone's first challenge photos! I hope y'all will at least stick around for the first challenge pix. Maybe it won't seem as MH heavy. This seems like mostly MH dolls because people entered more than 1. So one person may have shown 5 MH dolls.
