I agree that more variety would've been nice, but it's not the faults of those who entered. If you wanted to see other dolls, then you should've entered other dolls. The competition was open to everyone, and the other doll varieties had the same opportunity to enter as the MH girls.

I was just hoping this wouldn't be all about Monster High but I was wrong.

Its nothing against anyone that likes MH at all. I just wanted to see other dolls.

I was really excited for this but now not so much.

ETA- I was going to enter but my personal life has been crazy and I just didn't have time for it. Please excuse me.

Not trying to be rude to those who didn't enter. All I meant was that the entrants chose which dolls to use, and it wasn't like there was any bias towards MH. I just don't think it's fair to complain when everyone, MH or not, worked super hard to get these fab photos.

I have nothing against MH at all. I own some of them.

I just thought this competition was going to be about the other dolls on the arena seeing as there is already a competition for MH going on right now.

The judges would have liked to see more variety, in fairness, it's not the judges fault. It was open to everyone, whatever doll they had. If people chose to enter MH, that's fine, we're not excluding MH since there are so many MH dolls available and lots of people had MH.

And I don't think it is fair to complain, if others had time they would've entered. Everyone has crazy hectic lives at the moment That isn't a 'go' at anyone, the judges have lives outside of the competition too, they've made time to evaluate and it's nice to see the people who are greatful for that.

Judge Spectra made a promise to get the evaluations of the judges together today despite being ill and in bed all day, but Spectra never breaks a promise, and here it is.

You have the option to follow the competition or not, if you don't like the fact there is MH dolls, fine, but remember it was open to everyone and other doll entries were encouraged.

the original intention was to NOT include MH, because of the other contest. It was also the original intention to not run them at the same time, so those of us in the MH competition could enter. (otherwise I would have put one or more of my Pullips in)
I admit, I am disappointed to see mostly MH, but it's what Icecrystalline wanted, and we need to respect that.

Thank you Jupi.
In fairness, it's open to everyone, has been from the start, obviously Monster High is very popular and that is why so many were entered.
All the judges wished more non-mh were entered, but obviously we cannot change that now...!

And thank you to whoever combined the threads!

Let's also remember that these aren't even the contestants! Heck, the non-MH girls might be the majority of the ones who make it to the next round!

Thank you for all you do, Icecrystalline ( and the other judges we know not)!! We know this is all for fun, and all voluntary. You take the time out of your lives to help us improve costuming, lighting, and photography skills. I want to learn regardless if I make it or not.

That being said, I for one, would LOVE to be able to buy a Pullip, Taeyang, or Resinsoul to participate, but I cannot afford it. I also did not come to the Dollhouse until ANTM had already started. I wanted to try out for this, and MH was all I had, so here I am.

Again, thanks to you all for doing this!

Alicat: Thank you for your lovely comment, honestly, it means a lot to myself and the other mystery judges.

Outside of being a judge, I agree, if I were able to afford a beautiful Pullip or BJD and hadn't been running the competition, I would've entered, the fact is , I cannot afford such beautiful dolls, and lucky those who can!

Again, thank you Alicat, Pinkamena and Mosspath, you make running this worthwhile!

I kind of feel bad that I didn't enter my Pullip. To be fair, I only have on pair of shoes for her, and, like, three outfits, so there's not a lot I can do with her as a model.

Don't feel bad Pandaberry! There is no need to feel bad, this competition was open to anyone with any doll, it is your personal choice who to pick, if you have an advantage with another doll- too right, go for it!

It would've been nice if it was done at a different time, I would've entered my Pullip. But I simply don't have that time or energy.
That being said, at least this means I get to sit back and enjoy, even if it's mostly MH, there are STILL nonMH dolls. I feel with a bunch of the photography peeps over in the other competition, it might have been a bit skimpy if you were to not include MH, less contestants.

But let's see this take off. :D I'm happy to see them all!

 I did better than I expected
 Yeah, I apologize for the blurry pics mosquitoes were all over me during the 'shoots'.
I'm not good with sets either, so that's why I had the weird things going on in my shoot.
Thank you for critiquing, now I know what I should work on.

(Is there a way to put MH arms on Cyanne?)

I just had to say, I love Dalice, Willa and Tulipe's entries, they look fabulous!

Mintymints: I'm not sure about the MH arms, I personally haven't undertaken such an event....

SO, who is ready for the results?
