The CaM Appreciation Thread!!!

I have 5 CAMs: Skeleton, werewolf, dragon, vampire, sea monster. My werewolf is Kenzi Dyson and my vampire is Drusilla Dresden (I watch too much TV). That's all I've come up with so far.

These are mine:

witch: Deirdre Nightshade (a play on "deadly nightshade")
sea monster: Kahurangi-o-te-Moana (Maori for "jewel of the sea")
gargoyle: Flint MacQuarrie
mummy: Heira Glyph
dragon: Georgina Dragonova (a play on "George and the Dragon")
werewolf: Luna Lycan-Thorpe
ice: Alice Brr (Alice = "all ice")
blob: Blobara Ann Blobington (a play on the Beach Boys' "Barbara Ann")

I was going to have her be the daughter of the frost giants, but "Allice Burr" doesn't sound very Scandinavian. Having her be the daughter of Old Man Winter didn't seem quite right either, so I took a page from Pratchett's Discworld and went with his granddaughter instead (like Susan is Death's granddaughter).

I'm still not 100% sure about spelling Alice with two Ls though. It just looks wrong to me. But I thought maybe it was too subtle with just one L.

If you ever play a game called 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors, they mention a woman who's body froze at room temperature, and she was knows as All-Ice, and then Alice. So it all works, and I at least catch on right away.

I haven't heard of that game. Sounds intriguing. I just couldn't take it any longer, though. The spelling was driving me nuts, so I changed it to "Alice Brr".

Mine too!  I left the buns in mine and I think she's pretty fabulous.
