I just got back from Target and they had the car and the plush dolls on clearance for $11.48

I found a car that had a cutout of Clawd sitting in the passenger seat. I wonder when that one was released? It's the first time I've seen it.


Walmart: Had a bunch of Cupids, one crushed box Spectra, Draculaura (sig) and Clawdeen (v2). Clawdeen and DL came home with me.

Brag time! Plus a very long story to go with it...

My sister and I wanted to head to TRU today (MLP BOGO- and we wanted to see if there were Wave 3 blindbags to be found) so we did this afternoon. The first TRU had zip blindbags, but we always check the MH section now. So we headed over to another TRU... they had the right Wave of blindbags, but no Big Mac (the only one we wanted!). We checked the MH section there, too. In total, we saw:
- All of the Ghouls Rule ghouls
- CAMs (witch/werecat, gargoyle/vamp boy, seamonster/vamp, bee, skeleton, 3-eyed ghoul)
- Cupids (the one with the diary- I don't think that's the 1600 one)
- SS Frankie, LaLa, Ghoulia, and Abbey (and the 5 pack!)
- 1600 Frankie (maybe Clawdeen- can't remember which version of her)
- Both of the I <3 Fashion girls
- Some sort of LaLa, Clawdeen, and Spectra (not sure which versions they were)
- Hydration Station
- LaLa's powder room w/ doll
- Ghoulia's scooter (some with, some without doll)
- Clawdeen's bed
- Cleo's vanity set
- various plushes/ nail polishes/ misc. junk

The second TRU had a majority of the stuff (the first had more Ghouls Rule). When my sister and I were in the aisle, there was a young girl there with her parents. As I saw the aisle, I said to my sister that they had a Cupid. I didn't think the woman could hear me, but she took her off the shelf and passed her over to me! We looked for a while, but there wasn't an MH sale, so we weren't really going to buy anything. My parents offered to buy us each a doll since we couldn't find ponies, so now the hunt was on! I love love love the Skeleton CAM, but I don't want mismatched/ extra parts. I was discussing with my mom about how they should sell all of the parts with the CAMs when my dad walked over (he had been trying to find the shipping box for the Blindbags on top of the shelves!) and asked if we were looking at "Those Monster High thingies."

He pointed us over to an end cap where there was a ton of SS Frankies and 1600 dolls. I pawed through them and found Spectra! My sister found the I <3 Fashion Abbey as I went to price check Spectra. Well, I ran into the woman from before, who was scanning the hydration station. She said, "Hey, you know these dolls, right? Is this the one with the leg fins?" I said yeah, and she wanted to know which one I found. I told her it was Spectra, and I pointed her towards the magical end cap. I wasn't sure if she was getting the dolls for herself or for her daughter, but it was cool to talk to an adult who knew who was who!

Anyway, my dad got my sister the Abbey and I grabbed Spectra, who I never thought I'd find. Not sure what release version she is (there's an add for the Ghouls Rule DVD on her box), but she's gorgeous! My sister loves the fashion set, and is thrilled that it comes with extra earrings, too!

One question, though. Does anyone else have troubles getting the pets to stand up? Both Daddy O'Longlegs and now Rhuen seem to enjoy face planting a lot. I've bent the plastic a few times, and it seems to give them more stability, but I really don't want to break them. Suggestions?

Gaah, you make me wish I had more money for dresses. I think it's totally your pics in general that has caused me to end up with 17ish dolls and a bunch of accessories I already do have! (Not a single regret!).

I'm totally going back out to the beach/park this week sometime for pictures.

I love tights, and I have to resist doing this too. So far I've only got a stripy pair of stockings for my witch, and a beaautiful pair of lacy looking tights for my Pullip.

tuneful - I love those dresses!  Where did you get them?

Frankie's dress is from an etsy seller who only does custom dresses. They run around $20-30. The dresses the twins are wearing were from etsy as well, but each probably only cost between $8 and $12. As for Clawdeen's dress, I believe it was from etsy as well. I don't recall the price. Unfortunately custom made clothes cost a bit, but honestly, for the quality and uniqueness, I think they're totally worth it!
