Completely forgot to post this!

Last month it was the 5 year anniversary of my first date with my boyfriend.

As a gift he decided to make me a My Little Pony from scratch!

He carved it out of a couple of tree branches he found in a park near our apartment.

He used Baby Surprise as a model, and I think he did a pretty awesome job!

He even carved the year and our initials onto her hooves...but I couldn't get a very good photo of that.

I have named her "Baby Splinters".

Hehe, too cute!  What a sweet and genuine gift!  I love stuff like this!  My husband draws me pictures of flowers when can't buy them for me.

Wow that is a really cool gift!  I could see a bit of mohair of fluffed yarn for mane and tail on her, but she is awesome as she is!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! I showed the comments to my boyfriend and he seemed pleased, if a little embarrassed (he's shy)

Lavendar_Lace: Drawing pictures of flowes is a brilliant idea...and so sweet! In fact, I think I would prefer that to real flwes because you can keep the pictures forever and you can see the effort and thought that went into them.

Colorscapesart: Those are pretty good suggestions, actually. I've been thinking about whether she what could be used to give her hair, but I also like her as she is and am scared of ruining her. Hmm...something to think about.
