Agreeing with the general consensus that these are (hopefully!) early prototypes.  I like them better than the shine brights (slightly less blocky body and no odd raised leg), so I hope that they will be improved when/if they are officially released.

I think Twilight and Rainbow Dash are incomplete. They will look way nicer when they are painted properly and have accessories/clothing.

As for people saying Twi's head looks funny, I bet it is because her head nods or has some sort of motion. My guess about Rainbow Dash is that her wings move back and forth. And then for AJ I bet her back legs move.

I also found what appears to be a normal brushable Twilight with horrible tinsel hair and plastic dress...

I noticed these in another thread...I have been loving the toy line for G4 so far...but the plastic clothes make me sad ...I had so hoped as the FS got fabric clothing that if and when we saw pony wear it would be fabric too...le sigh

On the plus side...that AJ looks much cuter without the tomato looking symbol

We've been getting a lot of fabric dresses for ponies like in the wedding toy line (I want to get Rarity because her blue dress looks so cute). The plastic dresses for this line so far though look cute. Can't wait to see what the final product looks like because I want to see what goes in those holes.

I think both the plastic and fabric dresses are really lackluster.
The plastic dresses could have been really nice if they actually bothered to paint some of the details on them. But just like the "boots" on the princess ponies they decided not to do that.
It's just cheap. Really cheap.

I don't think the main reason to switch to plastic dresses is necessarily to be cheap, I think there are little holes in the dress to affix jewels to and decorate yourself.  I don't think attaching jewels to fabric would be quite so easy, but I guess we will find out how the dresses work later.

This is true...I ll try not to judge too much until we see them...I think I just have grand imaginings and memories of the much more intricate G1 wear...my expectations are too high

Someone already posted, I'm always too late. :p Saw the pose able Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle online earlier. I think they're cute. I assume they are doing something really neat with them based on the fact they have those raised symbols.
