I'm probably one of the few that actually likes that Dash.  As for her "not wearing a necklace"...she sure did wear that Element of Harmony or whatever. 
As for Twilight?  Again with the thigh tumour?  AJ's tomato didn't look all that beautiful, and neither does Twilight's star...spider web...thing. 
I'm really hoping these are just bad prototypes, and the finished product (if there even will be a finished product) will be a bit, well, better.

I think one of the reason Applejack, in particular, looks odd to me with tinsel hair is that I associate it with princess ponies and glamorous ponies (G1 influence and all that), and Applejack is just not the type of pony I associate with that kind of thing.  I mean, even before G4 with the farming and the "hard-workin' attitude", she seemed like the "everyman" of the earth ponies.

But that Twilight is the one that I just can't stop staring at.  She just looks super creepy to me . . . really, really wrong on a basic level.

Very odd looking... if they wanted movable legs - I don't know why they couldn't have done them like the G1 ballerina babies. Chances are if it's a button mechanism it will get broken at some point. Maybe they are coping the G2 magic motion ponies?

I find them kind of funny.. Then again, I like a lot of Kaiju and japanese trash toys. LOL. xD

But I most likely won't go out of my way to get them tho.. (since they're exclusive Crystal Empire they will most likely never make it over here, and I don't know if  I like them enough to ask someone in the US to ship them over here.. )

Of all the ponies in the mane 6 they gave the tom boy a necklace. It doesn't even wrap completely around the neck...and she has no symbol. And Twilight looks unfinished.

I don't get what the buttons for. It could be to move them, but only Rainbow's had it so far. I have no idea where Hasbro's going with these.

I think the necklace doesn't go all the way around (and they look unfinished) because they are missing the removable parts that complete the necklace/saddle/whatever.

Exactly. The saddle on the shine bright is removable, but the button stays.

Over-all, I think these look OK and I'll probably buy them.

I'll be honest, if those first two come out like -that- I can say they probably won't last long.... they look like they are about to break apart... but that is likely not the finished produce. I'd still say no to these. And I can say a few parents might agree later on that
