New Crystal Empire AJ?

I think her poseable legs look much better than on the blocky Shine Bright ponies (probably because Hasbro didn't have to make room in her body for a battery and electronics), but . . . I really don't like any ponies with poseable limbs.  Of any generation.  Something about it just is a complete turn off for me.   

It makes them look more "fake" to me, I guess.   All MLPs are toys, obviously, but the simpleness of their design--a body that's all of one piece, except for a neck seam that I don't even notice anymore--makes them seem more like they could be alive, and that helps make them alive in my imagination.  Jointed limbs or blatant machinery (like the HUGE KNOB on the chest of the Dance 'n Prances) destroy that illusion for me . . .

Some new (seemingly more finished) pony images. They are lovin all over the glitter this year lol Personally I don't mind but most people I know seem to regard it as what one friend calls it- "the herpes of craft materials".

I'm not so sure how I feel about the poseable ponies.  I think I'll reserve my judgement for the final product first.

That Twilight Sparkle looks a LOT better than the previous prototype. Still really iffy on Rainbow Dash though. They always put way too much glitter on prototypes.

Well, it's a -slight- improvement. The necklace on RD is what's killing it for me, though.

I don't know how I feel about the poseables- not a big fan I guess.  I love the translucent Crystal Empire ponies coming out on Tabaou...
