Restoring a Grail Pony - True to You, Or True to Hasbro?

I've got one of my grails on the way, that I've been after a while

Baby sea pony surf rider 

She's coming to me as bait / restore as she's got a pretty decent 'fro going on

I'm going to rehair her but...

Do I rehair her in light pink as they come from the factory.. or do I rehair her in white, which is how I remember her as my childhood pony as she like so other many ponies with pale pink hair, fades to white as she ages

I'm thinking rehair in pink and leave near a window that gets some sun.  That way you can have the best of both worlds, so to speak.

I think you should rehair her in pink!  If you get the stuff that's known for fading, it'll fade at some point and you'll get the best of both worlds *_*

Edit: lol!  Looks like Aperture had... exactly the same thought as me!

Maybe a very light, faded-looking pink?

I would go with a tone or two off the normal light pink as well! Pussycat pink can always look startlingly "fake" on a pony despite that being an original colour.

Perhaps a much paler pink? or maybe pink with a white stripe? Tough choice, but I'd say if you really remember her as a white haired pony and that's what tugs at your heartstrings, go with white.

I agree with everyone else; repair her to the best of your memory - so if you remember white hair, choose white!
