Oh I almost DIED!!!

My (very manly) husband very casually mentions to me tonight that he is interested in doing pony customs!!!!

My husband has said that before too!  He has no interest in collecting or playing with my ponies, but he has said that he thinks he could get into customizing.  Maybe they need more outlets for artistic expression!

I'm not entierly surprised though. Loads of guys are very creative and I can see how they would be interested in customizing ponies even if they don't really have any interest in the ponies themselves.

And lets face it custome ponies are just pure work of arts So jealous of all of you who can do it

Oh.MY.Goodness.

Today my hubby woke up bright and early and the first thing he says is "I want to head over to the art store and see what kind of stuff I'll need.."

And right then and there, he pulls out a little notepad and starts making a list of the paint he wants, the brushes, etc.

 

I feel like I'm in the twilight zone...

K, so he has two ideas that he is fleshing out right now:

1. Make a custom reverse Gusty for someone who wants a cheaper imitation
2. Have you ever seen the Chinese antique pottery that is blue and white? He wants to make a pony like that
3. He drew a symbol for another pony that is a silver moon crescent with a few different sized golden stars around it. The pony will be either black or very dark blue and have silver and gold blended hair
