Www.serebii.net always had a good and active forum. I haven't been on it for a while, but the site is still the same so the forum probably is, too

Serebii is rather huge, though I'm glad to see they fixed the lag issues that seemed to plague them in the past

Any areas of Pokemon he's looking to talk about on such a forum tho?

Pokemon's not really my bag, but I hope others have good recommendations!  There sure are a lot of them out there.

Does your husband collect? If he's looking for a place to buy/sell, I'd suggest pkmncollectors over one of the forums.

Definitely go with pkmncollectors, then. I've collected there for over a year and you won't find a better place to do it. Happy collecting!
