I've already done this about a year or so ago, but I've been mia for quite some time. I've been going through a really difficult period in my life for the past year and a half or so, so I haven't really been here to interact and get to know anyone. I wanted to apologize for that and see if maybe I couldn't try this again?

So, here goes.

Hi! My name is Chris. I've been called a lot of things in the past, Masque is my most recent name.

I'm 32 years old and live in the middle of nowhere, Missouri. I draw mostly original/anthro artwork or Transformers and mlp fanart. My interests include old school 80s cartoons, especially My Little Pony and Transformers, CareBears, Rainbow Bright, TMNT, He-Man, She-ra and G.I.Joe. I love animation, fantasy and scifi movies, and I always wanted to work for an animation studio after graduating from artschool, but sadly life has a habit of getting in the way of things, so that didn't happen.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone and hope that maybe I can make some good friends here.

Your cartoon canon sounds like my own.   The eighties sure had some good stuff.  There's a retro cartoon channel up here, and my DS and I prefer all the old good stuff to the stuff nowadays (well, except FiM, of course!).  Yay for old saturday morning stuff!

Sugar.Lightning - Yes! Most of the 80s cartoons are goofy and campy, but they're better than most of the remakes they have out there now. I think one of the few exceptions where I like the NEW stuff better than the old is the new Thundercats, FiM and I kinda like the new G.I. Joe as well. I think there's only myself and one other person in my friend group that seriously dislikes Transformers Prime though. |D;

The only retro cartoon network we have here is Boomerang, and that's not too bad but I wish we had something that played ALL old retro cartoons, instead of just hanna-barbera and the older stuff from CartoonNetwork. :c
