Mythology Swap~Hera~for Lina

Lina was my partner for the mythology swap. We all know she is a PHENOMENAL artist so needless to say I was super intimidated. She had some fantastic ideas but as soon as I saw a pic she included of Hera I knew I had to make her. Hera was married to Zeus so I wanted her to look regal. She is also known as a champion of women so I attempted to give her a softer look in her eyes. My only nod to her legendary temper is her red hair. I sculpted a peacock which is another of her symbols and then painted a pomegranate tree which is another. She was definitely a challenge for me since I wanted her to be perfect. Well, she definitely isn't but I like how she turned out overall. Hope you enjoy her Lina!

Oh and her "crown" is supposed to be a diadem...yet another symbol ;)

Wow, I adore her colors!  That crown and the peacock are awesome additions!  I'm sure Lina adores her!

She's absolutely gorgeous. I love her colours and how you managed to get so many things on the pony that symbolize Hera without making it look too crammed.
