Final Fantasy 8 Squall Commission

This is my recently completed FF8 Squall commission pony that I created for a good friend of mine, Mr Kai ^.^

I created his gunblade out of Apoxie in two stages, first I created the gun barrel and the blade. In the second stage after they had set I then built the rest of the gun around the barrel and attached the blade before it set ^.^ After it was completed I then painted it with acrylic paint ^.^

I created his jacket out of some leather material and a little cotton wool ^.^ tough to sew but totally worth it ^.^

I created a pale skin tone acrylic to paint the body then drew and painted his symbol ^.^ I also painted his eyes blue ^.^

I rehaired him with Hazelnut Saran hair which I then styled with the help of some glue :P

He's now in his new home and the lovely Mr Kai was very pleased with him ^.^

Squall has always been my favourite FF character and this pony has come out looking fantastic! Terrific job!

I especially love his cutie mark and his jacket! Very neat stuff :D
