Show me your.... Regrinded ponies!! :D

I was talking with a member here and it got me thinking about REGRIND!!

Regrind to me is a strange phenomenon. If it's on some ponies (like my poor big brothers) It is tragic, but on a common or bait pony, it's almost cool to see how it transforms. Neon random splotches are nothing like pony cancer, that stuff is always nasty!

I would love to see your pictures of your reground (regrinded?) Ponies!!

Oh dear! I know my Steamer has a little dot of regrind...but I dont want to look at it for fear it has grown since the last time I dusted him!

Gosh thats an unusual pony to develop that issue Cubby! It is possible in any pony of course but I think thats one of the few Fireflys I have seen with it.

Classic example...=] Interestingly enough, she also has glow in the dark regrind, but I've never been able to get a pic of it glowing after being exposed to a black light.

I know, it's weird!  but she just got it the last few years, mostly on the tips of her hooves.  poor flutter!  Yeesh.

So does anyone know the rhyme and reason behind regrind?
Is it totally random?..
In my experience it seems to hit harder bodied ponies like big brothers and Twinkle eyes...
You guys have flutters, winders and Firefly though.. huh

Regrind (as I've been told) happens when an old batch is mixed with a new batch of plastic.. and then it separates and discolours over time. Sooo strange

I see it a lot on ponies like Party Time, Cloud PUff, Galaxy and Speedy and NBBE baby Lickety Split. I think its a color pigment thing?

I think I found some on the Majesty I found today at Goodwill. It's hard to see in the picture; my phone's camera desaturates the colors. It's right below the middle flower on her cutie mark.
