Sundae Best Peppermint Crunch factory error?

I have gotten a Sundae Best Peppermint Crunch in a pony lot recently, but she seems different from the normal Peppermint Crunch and I cannot find any pony like it when I try to Google her. She doesn't seem like a nirvana to me, but more like a factory error pony?
She's got 2 different colored symbols. One is pale purple and the other mint colored. Her eyes are also very pale purple, they hardly have any color at all. She doesn't seem to have discolored, but actually painted this way. Under her feet it says: copyright sign 87 Hasbro Inc, Made in Hong Kong.

I would say sun fading leached the colors out of the paint.

Oh, thanks for the quick replies! To be honest I like her more with these colors than the original ones, but sunfading Peppermint Crunch and then letting her discolor like this... Why would anyone do that? Maybe she's been sitting by the window in the sun for a long time without the previous owner knowing she might discolor that way? Her blush is still colored pink though. Peculiar little thing my Peppermint Crunch, but I love her! ^^

Lots of ponies get sunfaded by children by accident. Leaving them outside, or just in a sunny room. Pink hair can turn white in as little as a day

Yes the sun can be a pony-killer if you like them how they came from the factory

I have a G3 Desert Rose who faded from pink hair to white on accident... white body with white hair actually turned out beautiful! ^_^

As bad as the sun may be for ponies, a white haired Desert Rose does indeed sound gorgeous Dragonflitter!

Sunfading, yep yep.   I've seen this happen with Peachy, Baby Crumpet, and Scoops' symbols too.  But the results can be very pretty, at least.

I also sunfaded a Desert Rose's hair . . . it was during the height of summer and only took two weekends.

Very common with that colour of symbol and eye.

Isnt it odd though sometimes we end up liking the "sun damaged" ponies more than their original. I love my white haired Lickety Split - the colour just works better on her!

As long as you love her thats the important part!
