I'm not sure if I'm right, but does the new Cupid have a slightly different face mold?

I was thinking that too! Her new face looks very long. I think I prefer the 1600 Cupid.

new/original

I prefer the original one...the new one looks like someone pinched her bum.

Can I ask who the black/pink horse is in the background please?

If anyone is interested in altering doll clothes to fit their monster high Guys and Ghouls here is one little trick i've developed

Get some Fabri-Tac Glue (I got mine at a fabric store and its been my most favorite tool to use with my art since I do not have to sew any more or get my fingers all rough with crazy glue)

I put the garment of clothing i want to alter on my Monster High Doll and see where to take it in from the back by folding the velcro pieces while stuck together over. Then i figure how many folds are needed with the velcro strips to fit the doll the way i want. Before Gluing i reme the garment. I then fold the velcro strip on the back of the garment over and have the velcro piece on the top. I add the glue under the fold so that the garment has been taken in a little bit. I do this to both sides so that it is equal at the back. You fold the garment more times but in an accordion style so that the velcro is still usable so that it can fit your monster high doll. Yes I does get a little buckly back there but some garments you don't have to take in much as others. Barbie Jeans for MH guys only took one fold for me and Liv and Moxie Girls took too folds for me since i like my outfits a bit more snug. Hope this is understandable lol was hard to type and not be able to show you step by step what i do. If needed i can take some instructional pix if any one is interested.

here are some Liv, Moxie and Bratz Clothes I've picked up at the thrift store I've altered for some cute fashions for my extra Monster High Dolls to wear.
ENJOY!
genius! thank you for posting!

But I'll tell you what else rocks. Bootsales. Bootsales rock, a lot, especially when you come out of one with this...
OMG that scooter is awesome. Did you find Spectra there too or did you already have her?

I saw some photo's on Ebay from someone who's selling powder room Draculaura and I'm quite dissapointed in her hair. I was expecting those gorgeous curls from the photo we saw! Even her hair on the box is different.

On another note, I was at the attic yesterday and I have to say, I love my younger self. I stored (almost) all of my Bratz stuff in one box on top of all my old toys (which I couldn't reach easily). And everything was in quite nice condition, it did show some wear of playing so much with it, but it was mostly fraying on some clothes. I ended up playing with the clothes a bit and the result is this..
I know what you mean! When I saw the stock image of that Lala I thought she'd have like a curly updo... fro thing, not just a ponytail. :<

Lucky find on the clothes! As much as I love Rochelle, I think Frankie's outfit looks particularly nice here. n_n

Yay congrats!! I keep looking for them, but I've only ever seen one thrifting. It was a poor lala whose hands and feet had been gnawed on by a dog :( She was in someone else's cart unfortunately or I would have got her to customize.

Working on customizing my Gloom Beach Frankie. I always liked her turquoise makeup, and I got a pretty turquoise dress and tights for her and was going to replace the black in her hair with turquoise and call it a day.... but then I discovered her glue seepage. So I decided to start from scratch! Took ages to get all her hair and glue out, and then I decided to repaint her face. The shadow and majority of the lashes are original, but I repainted her brows, her irises/pupils and her lips.

Thanks for all the help, everyone.  Good suggestions and wonderful pictures of your girls out of stock clothing:)  I don't want to go too far outside of stock, I just want somethings to cover up mismatched limbs   I'm gonna find that shirt (if it takes me forever ) and put in under the puma's tank........

Cupid:  I saw 10 of them at Walmart last week and could not force myself to buy one.  No matter how much I want that diary, it doesn't make up for the quality issues I saw (no offense to anyone that prefers her.)  The major thing that bugged me was the paint on the lower legs.  The white is almost see-though, where as the 1600 Cupid has nice thick white paint.  You can see this in the comparasion photos above, too.
I won't be checking this site anymore for messages.  If you need me, you can contact me at the MHArena :bigups:
